I do believe that in one of their interviews, Team Cherry commented on their team size and stated that they wish to keep it small so that they can maintain a greater degree of creative control that isn't split between too many different people. You're correct: they can hire more people. Originally posted by WanderingArtist:it an indie game, not skyrim or AAA level of complexity, this is 2023 not early 2000, an update is just a tweet away. They can ALWAYS hire more people instead of being a team of 2 or 3 (just saying, they aren't broke) It an indie game, not skyrim or AAA level of complexity, this is 2023 not early 2000, an update is just a tweet away. Thank you for the informative respectful comment, dude. It'll come out when it's ready to be released. Back in the early-2000s and prior, there was no social media updates to inform you about a company's next project. You only get so concerned about it because of the increased communications between developer and customer, now-a-days. Video game development takes time Silksong is no exception to this rule. That is shorter than all the other gaps between sequels I listed above by at least a year-and-a-half. Silksong was revealed on February 14, 2019, which means that from that point to today, it has currently been 4 years, 1 month, and 15 days that we've been waiting for Silksong's release. Total time gap: 14 years, 1 month, 10 days Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord -> October 25, 2022 Total time gap: 6 years, 11 months, 27 days Total time gap: 6 years, 2 months, 10 days Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom -> May 12, 2023 Zelda: Breath of the Wild -> March 3, 2017 Total time gap: 5 years, 7 months, 23 days The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim -> November 11, 2011 The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion -> March 20, 2006
